This years fundraising auction will be online and LIVE starting Feb 20th with many fabulous items. Our fundraising efforts allow us to keep tuition low and affordable for more families, and to invite parent education speakers and enrichment programs to share with our preschool community.

Our pick-up day for auction items will be Saturday, March 11th from 10am-12pm at the preschool (St. Phillips Anglican Church).

Both Wreath and Swag are a combination of Cedar, Fir and Pine. All greens are locally picked from Vancouver Island and hand- crafted by Wildwood Evergreens.

Contact your Gonzales Preschool family by November 14th to place your order. Wreaths and swag will arrive November 23th.

All proceeds from this fundraiser help support our non-profit co-operative preschool program.

This Saturday, June 1st, is the Oak Bay Tea Party Parade and once again Gonzales Preschool will be in it!  We’ll be meeting at Windsor Park between 9:30-10:00am.  Wear red, bring your decorated run bikes/scooters and helmets or hats and will also be handing out sidewalk chalk so feel free to bring baskets or wagons.

It’s going to be a blast!

Friday May 24^th is our Family Beach Picnic!

This is always a special day, we will meet between 10:00 and 2:00 pm, look for beach direction details from Angela’s email. Please pack a lunch, blanket, beach toys/gear (prepare for your children to get wet and sandy), sun smart gear and don’t forget a warm layer too. The one structured event plan is a walk at 11:30am along the beach and then upon our return, we will hand out nut-free/dairy-free/gluten-free treats. Other than that, the schedule is relaxed as it’s a coming together of both classes.

Come when you can, leave when you need to!

 

 

Reminder Gonzales Preschool is having their May 9th meeting at 7pm with a Cafe-Style with Reflections on Conversations about our year of parent education topics for 2018-2019. We’ve been very lucky to have diverse and engaging speakers come to our preschool and share their wealth of information on topics such as; children’s self-esteem, children and technology, world issues and how to talk with your kids about big issues, gender diversity, family, personal and education values. Our business portion of the meeting will begin at 8pm.
