What is Permaculture?
In this family-friendly workshop, we explain exactly what Permaculture is and how it can be applied not just to your garden but all aspects of your lives. This interactive day will provide you and your family with a great understanding of the key concepts of Permaculture and takeaways for you to implement at home straight away.
Who: This workshop is designed for everyone – parents, grandparents, children of all ages and educators.
Where: The Compost Education Centre, 1216 North Park Street, Victoria, BC
When: Saturday Oct 27 @ 10am-2pm
Bring: Lunch, snacks, water. Dress for an awesome afternoon in nature!
About the Workshop Facilitator: Josh Davis
Josh has worked and played in the outdoors for many years, from leading multi-day wilderness trips with ‘at risk’ youth, to guiding CEO’s on team building expeditions to climb Kilimanjaro. He has seen through these experiences how people change in the outdoors. He has designed corporate programs for a range of organizations including the BBC, Oxfam, Comic Relief, and The Bodyshop, and has run outdoor experiences for youth development charities such as Raleigh International, Take A Hike Foundation, British Exploring and the Chill Foundation. Josh is a passionate believer that nature can teach us a lot about ourselves and our communities.
